About this tournament
PLEASE READ THIS NOTE (7/16 1:27pm EDT)- With the weather conditions being what they are I'm now operating this tournament remotely as I'm not expecting any more players for the day. If I'm wrong about that and you'd still like to brave the conditions and get a round in, send me a message (either through Disc Golf Scene, or to my e-mail at [email redacted]) and I can set your group up remotely.
It's the Smash N' Dash Flex a (nearly) weekly flex series taking place at three different locations during the year. The third Sunday of every month, we'll be doing this at Meadowbrook Orchards!
Check in with me anytime between 8a-5p at hole #1 (or inside if it's raining) and play a round on the RED layout in a group of at least three tournament players using the official rules. Pros payout in cash (sent via PayPal to the e-mail you provide during registration), Amateurs receive payout in Marshall Street gift certificates (also sent to the e-mail you provide during registration.)
Registration for Smash N' Dash will typically show up as mostly empty, as players can register for the event right up until the end of it. I encourage day-of signups for this event- the intent is that if you've got nothing better to do on Sunday, come get a rating.
Entry fees DO NOT include course fees. If you are not a member of Meadowbrook, please purchase a round from the restaurant prior to playing.
MA4, FA4, and Juniors divisions are presented as "fees only" divisions, intended for newer players still familiarizing themselves with tournament play. There will be no gift certificate money in these divisions; players are still required to purchase a round if they are not course members.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT. Those spaces are needed for their food-based customers. There is disc golf parking available either in the lot further up the hill, or in a field to the left of the restaurant.
While you are encouraged to bring people you'd like to play with, there are no "reserve" groups; if you come as a threesome and there's a singleton looking to go play, I'm going to put you together.
Registration will also be available at the sign-in area for $5 extra, which serves entirely to motivate people to register online and lessen my paperwork load.
