About this tournament
Pre-registration required
Proceeds from this event benefit members of the Allegany County Disc Golf Club who have qualified for, and intend to compete in, the 2026 PDGA Junior World Disc Golf Championships in July in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Players (or their family members) who will benefit from this event will be in attendance on March 21. Junior Worlds entry fee is about $150, plus players will have travel, lodging, food and other associated expenses.
The concept of a mulligan-style tournament has been in the works for about a year. Any card mate of Rick Perkins knows the Cumberland resident and musician likes to ask for a do-over. So far, the answer is always "no." For his birthday round on March 21, the answer is "yes" as many times as he (and anybody else) wants.
A special "thank you" to Denise and Tony at Locust Post Brewery for helping us stage this event. They are fantastic throughout the year, every year, and the club couldn't be more grateful for their continued support. This is a beautiful place to throw discs.
Format
- One round (two loops of the 9-hole course) from the long tees (singles play)
- This a true-amateur, trophy-only event.
Layout / OB rules
- 18 holes from the long tees
- There will be some "special" OB rules.
- For example, 9 and 18 will be island holes.
- Pre-tournament email will be sent the night of Thursday, March 19, to all pre-registered participants.
Mulligans
- Mulligans are $2 each.
- They can be prepaid ( with cash, at time of check-in).
- Each card will have a "card captain" to track mulligan use for each player.
- Alternatively, each card captain will keep track of mulligans used, and that player will be required to pay (in cash) those mulligans at the end of the round.
- Mulligans can be used for any shot.
- A different disc must be used when calling for a mulligan and each mulligan replaces your previous shot.
- You cannot do a mulligan and then take your previous throw's lie (but you can call for a second mulligan - for $2 more).
- Since this event has mulligans and is an XC-tier, you will get points, but no ratings.

- The PDGA will charge non-PDGA members the standard $15 temporary membership fee.

- People who want to use a paper scorecard are encouraged to bring their own.
- There will be a limited number of paper scorecards available on event day.
- Scores from this event are not eligible for club course records.
