First of all THANKYOU for supporting Seth's Fifth Annual Memorial Throwdown by playing in this year's event! We can not wait to see everyone back at Alta Vista Disc Golf Ranch for another awesome year of disc golf!
I love that I can remember my brother in such a way with something he loved doing with all of you amazing people! Thank you for being a part of the fifth year of hosting Seth's memorial event. RIP Seth Allen Phillips September 14th, 1989 – October 15th, 2016
WE ARE ALLOWING DAY OF SIGN UPS!!!!!!!
Here is some information about the upcoming event that you will need to know:
CELL SERVICE
-There is minimum to no signal / service when you are at the course, and on some portions of the drive to the course
-Please prepare everything you will need to be without this luxury
-This also means you will need cash to purchase things at the event, cards/paypal/or other online pay options will not work
-Scores, and final payouts, will not be posted until Monday after the event, the 11th, due to this
- I WILL BE UNABLE TO BE CONTACTED AFTER FRIDAY MORNING DUE TO BEING AT THE COURSE. PLEASE GET ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS TO ME BEFORE FRIDAY AT 8AM. OTHERWISE THE QUESTION WILL BE ANSWERED WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO THE COURSE
VENDORS
-Seth's old time disc golf will have a shop set up on site to purchase discs
-Hang Zen Massage will be on site all weekend – Barbara Crawford is a masseuse with 10 years experience and it definitely improves your game to have your muscles feeling great!
-1 $ per minute with a maximum of 15 min per person
WEATHER
- Due to being in the mountains we are subject to periodic rain storms, please prepare by bringing dry clothes, umbrellas, and towels. Unless a lightning delay we will be playing rain or shine
CAMPING
-Camping on site is available on Friday and Saturday night of the event
-It is 15$ per tent, and 25$ per RV, if you have not paid your camping fee but will be camping, please be prepared to pay with cash when you arrive
-There is a designated camping area, so please know, that when you arrive you will be directed where to go
-NO FIRES!!!!!!!!! (Unless you have a safe outdoor propane grill, will need to be approved upon arrival by course owners )
SMOKING AND DRINKING
-There is no smoking, vaping or drinking allowed during a sanctioned event, please remember this.
-It is from the time you are given your score card until the time you hand it back in to the tournament director.
-Please do not bring anything onto the course during the event, and please remember during your breaks to stay away from tournament central if you are smoking
POOLS AND TIME OF PLAY
-On Saturday, the 9th : A pool will play in the morning teeing off at 9 am and B pool will play in the afternoon teeing off at 1 pm
-On Sunday, the 10th : B pool will play in the morning teeing off at 9 am and A pool will play in the afternoon teeing off at 1 pm.
-A Pool : MPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, FPO, FP40, FP50, FP60, MA1, FA1
-B Pool: MA40, MA50, MA60, MA2, MA3, MA4, FA40, FA50, FA2, FA3, FA4, MJ18, MJ15, MJ12, MJ10, MJ08, FJ18, FJ15, FJ12, FJ10, FJ08
FOOD AND WATER
- There will be NO food provided at this years event due to the pools and not having players having to stay for two rounds
- Victor is 15 min away and Cripple creek is 30 min away
-If camping, please bring what you need for yourself for the time you will be there
-We will have limited water bottles available, but plenty of water for you to fill a bottle
COURTESY AND RESPECT
- You are on private property owned by a very avid disc golfer, please remember to be courteous to the property and land. DO NOT LITTER!!!!

MOUNTAIN TERRAIN AND OB
-Please be advised you are in the mountains on mountain terrain
-Please dress appropriately, including preparing for rain just in case
-OB is only over the barb wire fences, otherwise, if in another fairway it is up to that cards discretion
-There is a course map on u disc please take a screenshot of this if you feel you need it prior to coming up to the event

EXTRAS, GAMES, AND RAFFLE
- Friday Doubles round at 3pm depending on whether, 5$ to play, cash back to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd depending on the amount of people.
-The Putt and Dunk will take place both days, you are more than welcome to dunk someone you know or we will have a dunkaroo as we are calling them! - 1$ per putt
-Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on SATURDAY, and SUNDAY MORNING
-The raffle will happen at NOON ON SUNDAY, which means if you are playing at 1pm on sunday, and are not camping, please arrive early to take part in the raffle
Prices - 1 for 3$, 5 for 10$, 10 for 18$
-Saturday night there will be a glow round being hosted by a few players. There will be a prior announcement of time of this round at the event
TROPHYS AND PAYOUTS
-If you are the first, second, or third place in your division, I will be contacting you after the event to get your information for your trophy
Please try to respond in a timely manner to your email that you provided when signing up
I will need your size for your hoody, and to know if it needs to be shipped
-Due to the day of sign ups a preliminary payout has been published to pdga, dgscene, facebook and attached to this email, final payouts will be posted on monday

Please remember: B Tier events are a 3$ PDGA player fee, payouts are based on net entry fee, which for example is $40 entry - $3 PDGA per-player fee = $37/player
The Tour Standards are clear that pass-through fees like PDGA per-player fees or venue-imposed greens fees are deducted from gross entry to calculate the net entry amount used for payouts
