About this tournament
$350 added cash
2 rounds of play
MBC Event #07
PDGA Sanctioned Pro C-Tier, Amateur B-Tier
$350 added cash for professional divisions.
The added cash will be split between the first and second days based on registrations before the day 1 event begins.
Since this tournament is a 2026 State Feature Gold Event, there are a total of 24 state championship berths available (12 each day).
Berths will be awarded to any amateur division that has 3 or more competitors. The remaining berths will be distributed among the amateur divisions based on participation. These berths are awarded for winning your division. If the winner of the division already has a state berth, the berth will be moved down to the next-place competitor. These berths are your ticket to be able to register for the Michigan Amateur Disc Golf State Championships. The berths cannot be returned, exchanged, or shared.
The event is sponsored by Discraft, and all amateur payouts will be in Discraft Plastic.
This is a PDGA B Tier event for amateurs, so a PDGA player identification number is required to register.
2 rounds at The Jungle with an hour lunch break after last card finishes round 1.
All divisions are welcome! If you do not see the division you want to play, let us know and we will open it for registration.
We will be utilizing PDGA Live Scoring. The Live Scoring code will be posted at check in and announced during the Player’s Meeting. Your hole assignments for both rounds will be listed in the Live Scoring system as well as at the check in table. We will have paper score cards and pencils available.
REMINDER: Starting in 2024, all players MUST keep score according to the updated PDGA rule.
There will be no AM Players Packs; money will go towards payouts
$5 Ace Pool (optional buy-in); If no Ace is hit, the Ace Pool will roll over to the next MBC Tournament
$5 50/50 CTP (optional buy-in)
Trophies: If no players are signed up in a division 1 week prior to the tournament there will not be a trophy for that division
As always there will be drink stations, marking whiskers, brooms, and CTPs provided by our Sponsors for everyone.
Layouts:
Holes 1 – 18, Course only has 1 tee pad and 1 basket per hole.
OBs:
4 – Road
5 – Parking lot
6 – Fence
7 – Fence
8 – Fence
18 – Road
The walking path on holes 3 and 10 are not OB.
There will not be painted OB lines. If your card can not agree a provisional can always be played and discussed with a TD at the end of your round. All OB should be played from the last position in bounds or players have the option to Re-Tee. Either result in a penalty stroke.
