About this tournament

This event exists for one reason:
To honor Sam Marsh and give back to the course he loved.
Sam was part of the heartbeat of the Cottonwood community — the kind of player who showed up for the game, the laughs, and the people. He made others feel welcomed and part of something bigger.
This tournament brings that same spirit back to the course for a day of competition, community, and celebration.
Every throw, every team, and every raffle ticket helps support a $20,000 capital improvement effort for Cottonwood Creek Disc Golf Course, including:
• Tee pad reconstruction
• Safety upgrades
• Erosion mitigation
• Course infrastructure improvements
All improvements are coordinated in partnership with the City of Colorado Springs.
FORMAT
Bring Your Own Partner Doubles
2 Rounds of Play
Round 1 — Madness
Fun, creative, and unpredictable. Expect twists that keep things exciting.
Round 2 — Master
Straight competition. Clean scoring. Strategy and pressure.
???? Bring your dog, get a mulligan.
Sam loved bringing his dog Lucy to the course, so we’re carrying that forward. Well-behaved, friendly dogs are welcome — just like Sam would’ve wanted.
Please keep dogs leashed and under control at all times.
PLAYER PACK
Every player receives:
• Custom hot-stamped Slammer (Sam’s favorite disc)
• Custom Cottonwood-style jersey
• ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ meal ticket
Yes — unlimited BBQ.

Disc Golf Church is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
If you need to cancel your registration, please contact us as soon as possible.
• Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.
• Within 7 days of the event, refunds may be issued only if your spot can be filled by another team.
• Day-of or no-show registrations are non-refundable.
As this is a charity event, a portion of all proceeds is committed in advance to course improvements and event materials. Because of this, we ask for understanding when it comes to late cancellations.
If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another player/team with prior approval.
We’ll always do our best to work with you fairly while honoring the purpose of the event — supporting Cottonwood Creek and the Disc Golf Church mission.
