About this tournament
Bring your own partner DOUBLES BRACKET [best-stroke-play].
$50 per team
All rounds will be STROKE PLAY on the course labeled as "A" (blue tee). Tie-breaks to be determined by a sudden death format until a winner is declared.
The bracket will be limited to sixteen teams over the duration of 4 weeks, ideally with the FINAL FOUR TEAMS PLAYING THE FINAL FOUR ROUNDS OCTOBER 4TH to determine the end results. It's possible to expand the field to thirty-two teams but the decision will depend on the level of interest and the degree of demand which will be determined by the size of the wait-list ]with refunds issued minus processing fee] to non-participants otherwise. Teams will have one week (Monday-Sunday) to complete their match-ups [September 7th thru October 4th] by way of single round elimination. In the event the field does grow and the bracket expands to thirty-two teams the first rounds will then need to be played by the sundown September 20th. With a 16 team bracket, however, players will have a second/extra week to complete their assigned first round match-ups by the 9/20 deadline.
Rounds must be completed by the respective Sunday or both teams will forfeit. Scores can be recorded via UDisc and submitted through the use of a pic or digital version that might also be shared to the weekly results thread that’ll be posted each week in the event's discussion forum on Facebook.
Round One - 9/7 thru 9/13
Round Two - 9/14 thru 9/20
Round Three - 9/21 thru 9/27
Final Four Rounds - Sunday 10/4
The $800 in payouts will be split between the final four teams. Greens are not included with registration and participants are responsible to cover the daily greens fees on the days that they play [$7/day].
Final four teams to be paid:
$500 First Place
$200 Second Place
$50 Third Place
$50 Fourth Place
Registration closes Friday, September 4th, with all refund request needing to be submitted 24 hours prior, and team matching will be determined by random selection and drawn [live] the following day [Saturday 9/5]. Expect a small processing fee [non refundable] and remember to note the names of both team members [w/team name optional].
