1 round of play
Registration is open for '22 league members until the Friday before [10/7] at 8pm, at which time any non-members [w/o a current tag] will have the opportunity to get in [the day before]. Registration ends 8:30am the day of and pre-registrants get their preferable card mates [dependent upon division/layout]. And a 9:15 tee time will start the first round after a mandatory players meeting at 9am.
Divisions will be split into three divisions [add $5 for non-members and/or players without a current SFDGC tag]:
• $10 for recreation/social
• $15 for advanced/amateur
• $15 for open/professional
• +$5 for players w/o '22 tag
Non-members should anticipate the additional costs for their respective division but, otherwise, registration includes greens fees, buy-ins, and multiple CTPs while the $300+ Ace Pot remains optional for $1 [or $2 for non-members]. The $90 that was accumulated from tag sales ($1/tag sold) and guest registrations throughout the season will be dispersed throughout divisional cash payouts, with reward$ to the top 30%-40%.
Those playing in the Recreational/Social Division will play the first round from the C-Course [white tees] in the morning while all other divisions play from the B-Course [blue tees]. The entire field [all divisions] will then play the second round from the A-Course. Note, however, the Ace Pot will only be available from the blues tees [A &/or B] and split by the number aces hit throughout the day. And if at the end of the day there's still an Ace Pot it'll be carried over to the 2023 season.
Our SFDGC signature soup known as Crap (non vegetarian broth based) will be served for lunch along with some basic snacks (ie. apples, granola bars, & cheese-crackers). And we ask that folks be aware of their sanitation by utilizing the available sanitizer, or bringing personal provisions if one's own health condition is in question.
The second round will go out from the bus roughly 45 mins after the last card comes in from the first round. And we'll then finish back at the kiosk/parking area, where final tags & other winnings will be awarded.
Registration for this invitational event is limited and space for non-members depends on the responses received from preregistering league members. So, please tells us if you're NOT coming so that the spot might become available.
Hope to see you all there Sunday [10/9]!
