About this tournament

The purpose of this tournament is to gain exposure to the new Course in Saint Albans. This course is family friendly and easy to play (9 holes).
The players package for this tournament will be a choice of disc from 9 different disc golf companies.
The following statement is required for waiver purposes if divisions are mixed per the PDGA. This waiver was approved by the PDGA on 09/10/2024
It used to be that an event in the US or Canada could mix divisions for Round 1 at a C-Tier, but unfortunately that is no longer allowed and is not something we can provide a waiver for.
However, if you are asking for a waiver that would only be used to allow a child to play with their parent, and not for the purpose of otherwise mixing divisions, then I think we could provide a waiver for that, but only due to the family-friendly aspect of this particular introductory short course event, we wouldn’t provide again. You would need to be upfront in your pre-registration materials that in some instances a playing group may have a child added to the group. Note that all players, including the children, need to be officially registered for the event and pay the non-member fee if not a member.
All non PDGA players will also receive a Large Mini from Lone Star.
All 1st Place and 2nd place winners in a division will receive a trophy.
There will be CTP discs on each hole. (Both rounds) Total of 18 discs or some other prize. After 9 holes we will have 15 minute break to pick up CTP's and put out second set of CTPs
Due to other commitments with St Albans there will only be one pool of players.
There will now be up to 5 players to a hole as of 09/19/24. With the additional players registration will cut off at noon on Friday in order to place players on random draw.
