This event is being held on the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc People, specifically Tk'emlups te Secwépemc. This event is named after the sagebrush (kéwku) that we will be surrounded by, as we play on the silt bluffs above the Thompson River. We are grateful to share this space, and this beautiful perspective, with you.

We’ve watched from afar and admired how the Moens family created a no-frills opportunity for disc golfers to play competitively while working on their rating! Now we are getting in on the action, bringing back-to-back events to Kamloops with the Sagebrush Women's GIGOGR on July 7th and this Mixed event on July 8th. If you’re unfamiliar with GIGOGR tournaments here’s what you need to know:
They are PDGA C-Tier sanctioned 1-day tournaments, designed for players that are already PDGA members to play competitively while working on their rating.
Fees are set low and are meant to only cover permits, green fees and PDGA fees.
There are no player packs and no Pro payouts – this could change depending on registration. And even then, everything would be minimal.
No Ace Pots or CTPs.
No trophies or award ceremony.
This is a low-cost, no-frills way to stay competitive!

Info about tee assignments and live scoring will be emailed using the email you use on Disc Golf Scene. Show up with time to get to your tee, liven up your score card and listen for the horn to start your round.
