SPRING VALLEY SILVER COURSE RULES

General :
‐‐ALL ponds and creeks are OB.
‐‐All cart paths & beyond are OB, except where noted in Hole Specifics. ‐‐All sand traps are OB.
‐‐All ball golf greens are OB. The green is defined by the shortest cut of grass, i.e., the “fringe” is not OB. When in doubt, play a provisional (PDGA Rule 804.06).
DO NOT WALK ON THE GOLF COURSE GREENS! ONLY PLAYERS RETRIEVING OB DISCS.
‐‐The “OB Line” is the paint, string, flags, or grass line. If an OB pond/creek is not strung/ flagged/painted, the OB line is the outer border of continuous water. The OB line itself is part of the OB area (PDGA Rule 804.04.B).

When in Doubt, Play a Provisional

Hole Specific:
#1 (P1A) ‐‐ Must play left of marked Mando pole. Missed Mando plays from DZ with 1 stroke penalty.

#3 (P2‐P4A) ‐‐ OB is left and long of flags (and paint where present). Cart path before basket is not OB.

#4 (P5) ‐‐ Tee Box is an inbounds island. Tee shot must cross cart path to be in bounds. Re‐Tee if tee shot never crosses in bounds.

#6 (F19‐F20) ‐‐ Service path that crosses fairway is not OB.

#7 (F1‐F2) ‐‐ Right of flags and paint on cart path and beyond is OB. Pond on left is casual.

#8 (F3) ‐‐ Must play left of marked Mando tree. Missed Mando must re‐tee with 1 stroke penalty.

#9 (P3) ‐‐ Tee Box is an inbounds island. Tee shot must cross cart path to be in bounds. Re‐Tee if tee shot never crosses in bounds.

#11 (F12‐F13) ‐‐ Netting is an integral part of the course and cannot be moved. Play from side where disc comes to rest.

#14 (F18) ‐‐ Creek and beyond on right is OB. Stream across fairway is casual. Lake on left is OB.

#18 (P9) ‐‐ Tee Box is an inbounds island. Tee shot must cross cart path to be in bounds. Re‐Tee if tee shot never crosses in bounds. Beyond flags and netting on the right is OB.

BONUS:
Players must play 3 of the 5 total FFWS events, including the final, to qualify for the Bonus payout in March. Ace pot for FFWS 'rolls' to the next FFWS event if not hit during the regulation round.
