This is a Southern Oregon Winter Series event! All events are two rounds with the schedule as follows

8:00-8:30am Check In

All events in this series follow this fee structure. Note this is one event of a whole winter series

$4 Course Rental Fee
$2 Series Overall Payouts
$3 TD Fee (This is used for tournament supplies mostly, extra stays in the SOWS account to fund added series amenities such as baskets, trailer, tee signs and other player perks, these funds also help pay the sanctioning fees for each event which are separate from the $3 PDGA C Tier Fees)

AM Day $18/player for Trophy and Players Pack Discs

Pro events use PayPal payouts with no trophies

AM Days are players pack only with trophies following the PDGA Trophy Policy which can be found here.

AM DAYS ONLY: Trophy hand out will follow these guidelines (This is the number of players the Wednesday before the event to have time to finalize the trophies)
1-3 Players in Division- 1st Place Only
4-8 Players in Division- 1st and 2nd Place
9+ Players in Division- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Trophies

All refunds follow the SOWS specific refund policy which can be found in the Refund section of discgolfscene.

Refund policy

Southern Oregon Winter Series is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. We follow ALL PDGA Guidelines for Refunds. It is the players responsibility to read the PDGA refund guidelines. This includes a $10 handling fee for all drop outs even if your spot in the event is filled.

SOWS Refund Policy 2025-2026

1. Any drop out more than 48 hours before the start of the event will receive 100% refund minus the $10 handling fee as outlined in the PDGA refund policy. This include ace pot/TD tip back.

2. Any drop out within 48 hours of the start of an event will only receive the 100% refund minus the $10 handling fee if their spot is filled at the time of the refund request by a player on the wait list.

3. If there is no wait list and a player drops out within 48 hours of the start of an event, they will not receive a refund. If you are playing on AM day, you have the option for another player in the field to pick up a players pack disc for you. This is your responsibility to make sure someone does. The players pack disc may not be picked up at a later event, only the one you dropped out of. This is due to different TD’s providing players packs for different events and each event being tracked separately financially. Pro drop outs do not have this option.
