Refund policy

SNEDGO Withdrawal and Refund Policy

All withdrawals and refunds for SNEDGO events will be handled in accordance with PDGA Competition Manual 1.03, Withdrawals and Refunds, along with the following published terms.

Official Withdrawal Requests

Withdrawal requests must be submitted directly to the Tournament Director using the contact information or refund-request process provided for the event. Informing another player, tournament staff member, or anyone other than the Tournament Director does not constitute an official withdrawal.

The date and time that the Tournament Director receives the official request will determine the player’s refund eligibility.

At Least 30 Days Before the Event

Players who officially request to withdraw at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee, minus up to a $10 handling fee.

15 to 29 Days Before the Event

Players who officially request to withdraw 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee, minus up to a $10 handling fee, only if their spot is filled by a player who was on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request.

If the spot is not filled by an eligible waitlisted player, the Tournament Director may provide either:

• A 50% monetary refund of the entry fee; or
• The player pack the player would have received by attending, minus any applicable shipping costs.

A player in a Pro division will receive the 50% monetary refund when the event does not provide a Pro player pack valued at least 25% of the entry fee.

Within 14 Days of the Event

Players who officially request to withdraw within 14 days of the start of the event, but before the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements, will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee, minus up to a $10 handling fee, only if their spot is filled by a player who was on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request.

If the spot is not filled by an eligible waitlisted player, the Tournament Director may provide either:

• A 25% monetary refund of the entry fee; or
• The player pack the player would have received by attending, minus any applicable shipping costs.

A player in a Pro division will receive the 25% monetary refund when the event does not provide a Pro player pack valued at least 25% of the entry fee.

Final 48 Hours and After Registration Closure

Players who request to withdraw within 48 hours of the start of play, or after the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements, are not entitled to a refund, player pack, merchandise credit, or other compensation.

Day-of withdrawals and players who do not attend without officially withdrawing are not eligible for a refund.

Waitlisted Players

Players who paid more than $10 to join an event’s waitlist and do not gain entry, or who officially withdraw from the waitlist before the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements, will receive a refund of the amount paid, minus up to a $10 handling fee.

Unpaid Pre-Registrations

Players who have been pre-registered but have not paid an entry fee are not entitled to a refund, player pack, merchandise credit, or other compensation.

Pre-registered players must pay their entry fee in full no later than 21 days before the start of the event or they may be removed from the registration list.

Non-Refundable Payments

Fees charged by DiscGolfScene, PayPal, or other registration and payment-processing services are non-refundable.

Optional donations made to SNEDGO are non-refundable.

Shipping costs associated with delivering a player pack or other merchandise are the responsibility of the player and will be deducted from any applicable refund or credit.

Additional Terms

Refund eligibility is based on the player’s official withdrawal date, whether the vacated spot is filled by an eligible waitlisted player, and the requirements of PDGA Competition Manual 1.03.

Refunds will not be issued simply because another player registers after a withdrawal unless that player was on the waitlist at the time the official withdrawal request was received.

If an offered division is removed by the Tournament Director due to insufficient registration, an affected player who does not wish to move to another eligible division will receive a full refund.

If SNEDGO cancels or postpones an event, refunds will be handled in accordance with the applicable provisions of PDGA Competition Manual 1.03.

This policy is intended to balance fairness to players with the operational and financial commitments required to organize and host each event.
