Silly Goose Disc Golf is excited and honored to partner with the YMCA of Hannibal in hosting the 3rd Annual "Toss and Huck" Doubles Disc Golf Tournament!
This event will Fundraise for the YMCA's "Strong Community Campaign". Through this campaign the YMCA fundraises every year to be able to provide scholarships for membership, child care, youth sports and swim lessons. In the past year the YMCA provided over $140,000 in community support and scholarships for over 500 individuals right here in our own community. Please join us and support this year’s Strong Community Campaign as we deepen our impact across Hannibal and the surrounding areas.
The Doubles Tournament will consist of 2 Rounds on a brand new SGDG layout.
There are 4 separate divisions (MA1, MA2, MA3, JR). Each of those Divisions will have Prizes for 1st place! MA1 division will also be competing for a “Silly Goose Style” Trophy in addition to the prize! If you are curious as to which one of those divisions your team will fit best in, here is a super quick and over simplified rundown:
"MA" stands for Mixed Amateur and the number stands for the level of skill.
- MA1 - plays as Expert
- MA2 - plays as Intermediate
- MA3 - plays as Recreational / Beginner
- JR - plays only 12 years and under allowed in division (must be accompanied by a guardian)
The course will be changed for the Tournament due to Silly Goose Disc Golf creating a new layout. We have heard what the local players love and hate about the course and have created something new and fresh! Some of the holes will be the same but we are excited for you to enjoy the changes so that the course can be new, fun, possibly a lot more exciting for some! All changes and out of bounds will be marked on the course and on the players guide. The Players Guide will be sent out the night before the tournament to the email given during registration. We will also discuss it at the Players meeting before the Tournament begins. (8:30am)
As usual the Silly Goose Store will be set up for you to peruse! Support us! Haha!
