Welcome to the 2023 SAUCE TOSS!
Y’all ready for some hootin’ hollerin’, sauce swallowin’, disc tossin’ boot-stompin’ FUN??
Come on out, y’all! This is not your normal disc golf tournament. In fact, quite the opposite. While golf scoring rules are still in effect, and should be enforced by players throughout the tournament, there mayyyyy be some distractions that’ll be directed directly towards having a FUN TIME. This event is for those that like to enjoy theirselves while throwing circular flying object things in the woods!! If you prefer a quiet, calm professional playing atmosphere, this may not be the tournament for you.
Two rounds of 18 holes on a technical layout with lots of challenging shots! Most of the holes range from 250-300 feet. This course is set for players of all skill levels, so don’t be shy!
After the awards ceremony, we will be having an AFTER PARTY on the course property that is sure to guarantee a good time! - CAMPING is FREE and HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for anyone staying for the after party. We will be wayyyyy back in the woods, so no possibility of troubles! prepare to stay with us through the night!
Trophies for winners in each division.
ALL CASH payout for Intermediate, Advanced, and Professional divisions.
Recreational and Novice divisions will be trophy only
We will have some side-games to play after the tournament for FREE where you can win some cool stuff too!
About the location:
Tucked in the beautiful dead-end hollow of Bursby Branch in Cottontown, Tennessee- we like to set up a saucy disc golf tournament that you’ll definitely remember ????
The property is a private property that is not able to be accessed publicly at any time. We set up the course the few days before the event.
If you would like to get an idea of where you are going, use address 500 Bursby Branch Rd. Gallatin TN, 37066 Tournament central is about 30 seconds , 300 feet from this address - to the end of the paved road- tournament Central drive the last gravel driveway on the right. - parking in the adjacent field straight ahead from the end of the pavement. Typically, we will host a doubles round/practice day the weekend before the tournament. we will have the course open the Friday before for practice also. You will be updated of this via email and social media.
Specific directions will be included in your player email from Disc Golf Scene prior to the event. There will be directional signs also down this road. It’s a dead end road, so only one way in, one way out! - if you’re coming from the north GPS takes you down Hollis Chapel Road when you’re about 20 min away- REROUTE to Bugg Hollow Rd. DO NOT GO DOWN HOLLIS CHAPEL ROAD. Take Bugg Hollow to Bursby Branch, and stay right to the end of the road.
