Two rounds, shotgun start! We’re rollin’ with an unsanctioned Run for the Border!
First round kicks off at Cold Hollow:
9am: Check-in
9:45am: Player’s meeting
10:00am: Shotgun start
From approximately 12:30pm-3pm: Break for lunch and travel to Black Falls

*MPO, will be playing from Gold tees on both courses. FPO and MA will be playing Golds at Cold Hollow and Sliver to Golds at Black Falls. FA will be playing from Green tees at Cold Hollow and Silver to Silver at Black Falls.

Run for the Border is back for another round! Established in 2010, Run for the Border was a staple of the Vermont disc golf scene.
Throughout the years, both Cherry Hill and Black Falls were the two featured tournament courses of the event. In the summer of 2021, Black Falls invited Cold Hollow to join their renowned tournament. Brought back to life last year, Black Falls and Cold Hollow threw an epic big money tourney and this year we’re rolling with Round 2!
On Saturday August 1st, join us for a one day, two round, two course shotgun start. This will be an unsanctioned event. We’ll have four divisions, MPO, FPO, FA and MA. 50/50 payout; 50% of proceeds go back to course improvements for both Black Falls and Cold Hollow, and 50% will go to player payouts. Extra $7,000 dollars added cash for player payouts, and there’s a plan to add more.
So if you love Northern Vermont disc golf as much as us, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
Added Cash :
100% of added cash, which currently stands at $7,000 is for the players. We’re rolling with a 65% / 35% cash split.
MPO/FPO: 65%
MA/FA: 35%
65% to MPO/FPO (percentage of added cash payout is based on division player number)
35% to MA/FA (percentage of added cash payout is based on division player number)
To keep with the big money payouts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be paid.
Total combined payouts:
1st place: 70%
2nd place: 20%
3rd place: 10%
