About this tournament

This will be the 25th ROYAL OAK OPEN disc golf tournament.
The Motor City Chain Gang will be hosting this event held at Wagner and Starr-Jaycee Parks in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Registration is between 8am and 9am at Wagner Park by Hole 1.
The Player’s meeting is shortly after with tee-off scheduled for approximately 9:15ish am.
Format is 1 Round of 18 holes at Wagner Park with a short lunch break followed by the 2nd 18 holes played at Starr-Jaycee Park.
The field will be capped at 72 players.
36 players (max per course).
If we need to spilt up the event, we will assign players into Pools.
TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCEMENT #1:
If you are traveling in a car pool and depending on how many people play in the event, we will try to place your car full of players on the same card regardless of division. This is a factor because each course can only hold 36 players. If you ARE carpooling with a group, either send me a text or post in the "Comments" section.
TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCEMENT #2:
All divisions will pay out 1/3 of the field. Cash for the Open divisions and merch for the AMs.
Pool A will begin at Starr Park for the 1st round and Pool B will stay at Wagner, if needed.
Each group will swap course assignments for their 2nd rounds.
All players must check in at Wagner.
Entry Fees:

Refund policy
Updated: April 6, 2025:
Motor City Chain Gang is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
A $5 fee will be applied to all refunds except for those on the wait list that don't gain entry to the event. Please see the below link for any questions.
