    5:00pm - 7:00pm

    Event check-in. This is optional for anyone in town early getting a practice round in. Come grab your player's pack, let us know if you are checking in on behalf of any other players, buy into the ace pot, and clarify any questions you may have.

    7:30am - 8:30am

    Event check-in. If you did not check in on Friday night, it is mandatory to come by tournament HQ (near hole 1's tee) and let tournament staff know you're present, grab your player's pack, and have any questions answered.

    8:30am - 8:45am

    Player's meeting. This will be a brief clarification of specific course rules (OB areas, drop zones, etc.) to make sure everyone understands the rules for the course layout they will be playing. After this, players will be sent to their starting holes for a shotgun start.

    9:00am - 12:00pm

    Round 1

    12:00pm - 1:00pm

    Lunch Break. On-site lunch will be provided at tournament HQ

    1:00pm - 4:00pm

    Round 2

    4:30pm - 5:00pm

    Awards Ceremony. We'll keep it short and sweet, trophies for the Am divisions, pro payouts handled in accordance with the PDGA pay scale.

Welcome to the first running of the Rossland Summer Slam! We are very excited to be offering the first ever PDGA sanctioned tournament at Thin Air DGC in Rossland, BC.

*NOTE: While this is a PDGA Sanctioned event, PDGA membership is NOT REQUIRED to participate. On the basis that a portion of entries will be donated to a the local West Kootenay branch of the BC SPCA, we are happy to announce that the usual $15 additional fee for non-PDGA members is NOT in effect for this event! As a result, the official classification for this event is XC-Tier, but fear not, the event will be run to full C-Tier standards!

This will be a one day, two round tournament, with both rounds being shotgun starts. Player's pack items will be taking shape over the next 6 months, as well as the size of the pro purse (will be minimum $1500 added, and we will be working to add to that total). This will be a True Amateur, Trophy Only event for all amateur divisions, with entry value being reflected in the player's pack. Lunch will be provided for all participants, raffle items will be up for grabs, more exciting details coming soon.

Divisions with 3 or less players may be subject to redistribution to the next most sensical division at the time of registration closing. Players affected will be notified, and given various options on how they would like to proceed.

Camping at the course is NOT PERMITTED prior to, or after the event. If you are looking for camping recommendations, please reach out directly and options will be happily provided. Discounted event rates will also be available at the Prestige Mountain Resort in downtown Rossland (5 mins from the course)!

Divisions with less than 3 players are subject to be merged with the closest division to make a minimum of 3 participants.
