About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Rosa Park Backside Safari is back for 2019. This year it will be a two round, open bag, 20 hole, course at Rosa Park.
This is a fully fundraiser event to collect funds to maintain the temp course, adopt a green-space cleanup movement, and any future developments of the course.
Winners of each division will receive trophies curtesy of Fat Freddy's Creations. There must be 3 people per division (excluding jrs).
In order to get the correct discs and shirt sizes for everyone, registrants have to be registered by October 1st. If you'd like to pay cash or need to pay later just let me know and ill get you signed up.
Schedule:
8am check in - Gazebo in the front of the park
9am start
Second Round start 1:30pm - 2pm.
There will be a huge raffle this year with a ton of great stuff to give away. Several bags, two baskets, discs from our sponsors, and more. All entries will get 1 ticket. You'll be able to buy raffle tickets beforehand on our website or the day of the event. Winners do not have to be present to win.
ONLY 80 Player packs available.
Players packs will include the following:
– Streamline Proton Disc (Custom Rosa Park Stamp)
(Ion Soft Electron, Tesla Neutron)
– 2019 Events Cotton Shirt
– MVP Fusion Glow Stick
– Silicon Wristband
– Paper Scorecard
– Pencil
After 80 registrants players will receive the following:
– 2019 Custom printed Rosa Park shirt: Random size
Folks that participated in the Rosa Park Cleanup will receive $10 off their entry. Message me for the discount code.
There will be a player check in pack pickup event at Sports Basement the Friday evening before (October 25th) from 6:30pm-8:30pm. There will be games, snacks, and possibly beer. Come out and support our sponsor and buy a bunch of stuff while you are there.
