About this tournament

A two round, unsanctioned doubles tournament at North Glen Park to benefit students in need at local schools. This tournament will be using the Best Shot format for both rounds, meaning both players will throw each shot and they may choose which lie to play from each shot and split lies will be allowed. I will take card requests for groups of up to 4 people and groups will be left together for both rounds unless specified otherwise. Cards do not have to be in the same division.

Entry will be $30 per person ($60 per team) and will be broken down as follows:
-$20 per player to cash payouts to top 40% of teams in each division.
-$10 per player will go towards a donation to kids in need at local schools.
-Trophies for 1st place in each division. 1st places ties will be broken by a playoff starting on hole 1.
-1st place team in the Gold division will have their names engraved on the large trophy that is presented every year.

This year divisions will have rating limits that will be enforced as of the October PDGA ratings update. Ratings will be based off the highest rated player of the team. If neither player has had a PDGA rating and are unsure which division to play please lean towards playing a higher division.

Rating references from this year's Glass Broken Open on the Short to Short layout:
5 Under Par = 935
Even Par = 878
5 Over Par = 821

There will be 6 divisions in total:
-Gold - Pro - No Rating Limit
-Silver - Advanced - Maximum Individual Rating of 930
-Bronze - Intermediate - Maximum Individual Rating of 875
-Copper - Novice - Maximum Individual Rating of 820
-Diamond - Advanced Mixed (Minimum 1 Female), No Rating Limit
-Rose - Novice Mixed (Minimum 1 Female), Maximum Individual Rating of 900

Layouts:
Gold & Silver: Gold Layout (Advanced Mixed Layout)
Bronze & Diamond: Green Layout (Novice Mixed Layout)
Copper & Rose: Short to Short Layout

The Gold layout is available in UDisc and is a difficult layout that is a mix of all layouts. The Green layout will likely be based off of the Short to Long layout but using some short baskets on certain holes.

If the Ace Pot is not hit during the rounds a CTP throw off will take place after the event and the pot will be split between the closest 3-5 players depending on the size of the pot. Each player in the Ace Pot will get 2 throws at a basket in the field. It will be kept at a shorter distance to give everyone a chance.

Refund policy
