About this tournament
2 rounds of play
OPEN TO ALL TEAMS OF 4! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE IN COLLEGE
All entry fees will be going to the CSU Disc Golf club to support their 2026 national championship travels. There will be no payouts.
Format is as follows:
The first round will be standard singles starting at 9AM
The second round will be collegiate doubles (alternate best shot doubles) starting at 12:30PM
The layout will be the standard long layout with changes such as mandos and alternate teepads. See attachments for more course details.
As for teams unfamiliar with the collegiate disc golf format, here is how it works. Teams are comprised of 4 people. Round one will be a regular singles round. The scores of all of you team members will then be averaged to determine what card you play on round two. Within your team of 4, each player will have a partner for round two. For example, players 1 and 3 are partners and players 2 and 4 are partners. Each partner team will decide if they want to tee off on even numbers holes or odd numbered holes. Team 2/4 decides to tee on odd holes. When round 2 starts, players 2 and 4 both throw a tee shot one hole 1. The next shot on the hole is chosen by the team from the best lie between players 2 and 4. Then the other partner pair of players 1/3 throw the next shot from the chosen lie. This repeats until a disc is in the basket. One hole 2 players 2/4 tee off regardless of the turn order. Sorry if I made that sound confusing but it made sense in my head.
