About this tournament
The North Cougar Classic is the first regular season for the College Disc Golf Rocky Mountain Conference. College teams from Colorado and Utah will compete in a two round, College Disc Golf format tournament at The Fort Buenaventura Disc Golf Course.
This portion of the event is for the collegiate teams players. Refer to the link at the bottom for the community doubles portion of the event.
FORMAT: There will be one round of singles and one round of collegiate team doubles. The scores from each team member from the singles round will be averaged, rounded in the teams favor in the case of a number that contains a .5 or better decimal, and will be posted as a single score for round 1. The second round will be a round of collegiate team doubles.
Costs :
$32 for a men's team of 4 and and $16 for a women's team of 2 - These fees will not include players pack, but will instead cover the fees of hosting at the Fort. Limited players pack discs will be available for purchase during the break between rounds.
Optional Add-Ons:
$3 CTP (optional) - CTP prizes will be available for several holes
$5 Ace Pot (optional) - The ace pot will be distributed upon an ace being hit, evenly split if more than one are hit, and a CTP throw off will occur if no aces are hit. $1 will go to help fundraise for the Women’s and Men’s BYU Disc Golf Team.
$8 Lunch per person. All proceeds go to help fundraise for the Women’s and Men’s BYU Disc Golf Team. Lunch may not be purchased during the break due to county rules, so last chance will be at check in.
$3 The Holy Shot Challenge! Participants will get one try to replicate the Holy Shot from 2021 Worlds. If anybody hits it, they will win a jumbo prize courtesy of Disctracted. In the event that the shot is not hit, the prize will go to the CTP.
