About this tournament
2 rounds of play
The 2023 Rockin' with the Ladies event is a two-round XC-tier charity event that will be held at Tyger River.
LAYOUT
All players will play the short tees for each hole. In addition, there will be alternate short versions of holes 15, 17 and 18 in play (15 from the opening in front of the short tee, 17 tee from the DZ to the island, 18 tees alternate short tee beside the light pole, before the DZ).
Hole 6 will play to the RED basket (par 4), while holes 11 and 16 will play to YELLOW.
RULES and OB
The Rules and OB are listed below.
All paved areas are OB
Unless noted below, painted lines should be ignored (ex. between holes 10 and 18)
Most tall grass areas are played as Hazard; players may choose to play from the lie or take casual relief left/right out of the hazard, but no closer to the basket
Hole 10: tree line to the right is OB, marked by painted line; fence beyond the basket is OB
Hole 11: tree line to the right is OB, marked by painted line; tall grass is Hazard (add +1) and all short grass is in-bounds
Hole 12: tall grass is Hazard (add +1), marked by painted line
Hole 13: tall grass is Hazard (add +1), marked by painted line
Hole 14: tall grass is casual; take relief as needed
Hole 15: tall grass is casual; take relief as needed
Hole 16: tall grass is Hazard (add +1) and all short grass is in-bounds
Hole 17: tall grass is Hazard (add +1) and all short grass is in-bounds
ALTERNATE TEES
Hole 15 (par 5, 499’): Players will tee from the opening in front of the short tee.
Hole 17 (par 3, 199’): Players will tee from the DZ in the first island.
Hole 18 (par 3, 276’) : Players will tee from an alternate short tee beside the light pole, before the DZ.
ACE POOL
There will be day-of signups ($5) for the ace pool. If there are no aces, then a CTP throw off will be on Hole 9 to determine the winner. $50 cash will be added to the ace pool prior to signups.
CTPs
There will be divisional CTPs that carry through both rounds. Holes will be announced the day of the event.
RAFFLE
- Throw Pink DISCatcher EZ Target (see pictures)
- Other items TBD.
Tickets will be available the day of the event..
- 3 for $5
- 8 for $10
- 20 for $20
PAYOUT
Pros: cash payout (w/ trophies)
AMs: trophy only (1st-3rd in each division)
PLAYER'S PACK
1 Innova disc (You choose disc weight during registration)
Other items TBA.
Must be signed up by November 8 to be guaranteed a player's pack.*
LUNCH
Lunch will be provided for all players and consist of hot dogs, baked beans, chips, and a drink.
PDGA MEMBERSHIP
The $10 fee for non-members will be waived for all competitors.
