THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED BY THE PDGA INDEFINITELY. FOLLOW PDGA ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES!
*Please note this event is trophy ONLY for all divisions. To be guaranteed a sweet WGE Player Pack please register by April 17th. All registrations received after this date will NOT be guaranteed an official WGE player pack. Lunch will be provided to ALL registered players.
Starting Thursday, April 2nd and running through Thursday, May 7th there will be a ladies league held at Camp Canaan on the tournament layout beginning at 5:30 pm. This is an exciting opportunity because the Canaan Disc Golf course is typically only open on the weekends. Huge thanks to the staff at Camp Canaan for making this possible!
There will also be a one-round Mixed Doubles event on the course Friday, May 8th starting at 5 pm.
To participate in the league night and mixed doubles event, you do NOT have to be a participant in the main event. Join us when you can! Everyone is welcome.
The PDGA non-member fee has been waived by the PDGA for this event. Thanks, PDGA!
*Juniors 12 and under will only be required to play one round to be included in the overall Women’s Global Event.
The Women's Global Event (WGE) is a biennial women’s disc golf tournament consisting of smaller events run simultaneously on the same day around the
world. The event is open to all comers to discover and enjoy disc golf. It is our mission to offer a friendly, competitive event while encouraging more women and girls to be physically active through disc golf.
Since its inaugural year in 2012, the WGE has consistently raised the bar as the largest women's event in the game of disc golf. We look forward to setting even more records in 2020.
The event will take place on Fewell Island at the beautiful Camp Canaan. With gorgeous views of the Catawba River, you'll always have something sweet to look at, even if it's not your shot.
To maintain the beauty of the island, the owners have a few rules: Dogs, alcohol, and tobacco products are not permitted anywhere on the Island. Please pack out all trash when leaving.
