Registration info
- We're going to do this in two phases.
- Phase 1 will be free online registration. That's to secure your spot.
- Phase 1 begins April 24.
- Phase 2 will be when you pay.
- Phase 2 will be on or about May 10, 2026 (or sooner, if we reach 24 or 36 sooner)
- Phase 2 will be offered to the order of free registered players (the first 24 have dibs, then the next 12).
- We must have at least 16 paid, pre-registered players to move forward.
- The goal here is to ensure every one who wants a spot, gets a spot, while at the same time avoiding unnecessary PayPal and DGS fees if there is not sufficient interest.
Entry fee
- $45 per player through May 14
- $48 on and after May 15
- This staggered pricing serves as a "thank you" to those willing to commit to the event early on.
- No event-day registration will be permitted
Format
- Two rounds, two sites.
- Round 1 at Hoffman Park in Frostburg, Maryland.
- Round 2 at The Glades at Meshach Run near McHenry, Maryland.
Layouts
- Round 1: 2 loops of the nine-hole course
- Round 2: The 1-18 layout
Divisions
- Officially, everyone plays MPO or FPO for the purposes of the overall titles.
- We will offer some other divisions based on the makeup of the field
- This approach helps us to recognize as many top-achievers as possible
- All amateur players maintain their amateur status even if they play MPO/FPO for this event.
Player's pack
- 1 Particle Proton Soft Glitch
- 1 Neutron Soft Parachute
- Players will be able to choose their player pack discs in order of registration (Phase 1).
- MVP policy prohibits selling "player's pack-only tickets" - in other words, you must intend to play the event if you register.
Discs allowed
- Any PDGA-approved Glitch, Pitch or Parachute can be used for this event.
- Players are not limited to the player pack discs.
Scoring
- Scoring will be on the uDisc app.
- One player per card will keep score.
- A second player per card can choose to keep score via paper scorecard if they wish.
- That second player must supply their own paper scorecard.
- All players must have a uDisc account (the free version is fine)
- All players must ensure that "league display name" is a player's first and last name.
CTPs
- Included in entry fee.
- Details of CTPs will be in the pre-tournament email.
Awards
- The MPO and FPO division winners, respectively, earn a free entry into the MVP Glitch World Championship held in Fall 2026 at Maple Hill Disc Golf Course in Massachusetts.
- We will have a few unofficial divisions as well (based on the makeup of the field).
- In past years, we've recognized to club members, top youth players, etc.

The 2026 Glitch World Championship Qualifier (GWCQ) series is here! Players from around the world will compete for the opportunity to qualify for the Glitch World Championship this fall at the fabled Maple Hill. Players will need to flex their one-speed game to win their qualifier to have a chance to become champion, but second place doesn't come home empty handed either. The player pack for this years GWCQ series features the Particle Proton Soft Glitch and the Neutron Soft Parachute - two amazing discs with a custom GWCQ stamp to commemorate your chance at greatness! As always, players are free to use any one-speed discs from MVP/Axiom/Streamline during competition.
Every GWCQ MPO and FPO division winner will earn free entry into the 2026 Glitch World Championship to take place at the legendary Maple Hill Disc Golf Course in Massachusetts on Sept. 11th & 12th. The only way to play in the Glitch World Championships for a chance at the fabled Golden Glitch trophy is to be a previous GWC Champion or by qualifying through your local GWCQ.
Now YOU have the opportunity to compete against the best Glitch throwers on the planet, on the best course in the galaxy, for a chance to be crowned the best in the world!

Refund policy
Tournament Director is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. No refunds after May 14, 2026. However, the ACDGC will permit entry transfers from Player A (withdrawing) to Player B (entering) without an additional fee. Contact TD for details.
