Benefiting the "FDNY Foundation"
The FDNY Foundation is the official non-profit organization of the New York City Fire Department.
Its been a long 18+ months of lock downs and alone time. It's time to come out of hiding and get back out there and enjoy the freedom of the fresh outdoors! Let's do it up big with this fun best shot doubles event using starter pack discs only. Additionally, $1 from sign up, and $5 for every star-frame during the event, will go directly to supporting the Fire Department of New York in remembrance of 9/11. This event is aimed at drawing out new players, and providing some fun and a bit of challenge to the experienced players. We will be playing on a Red, White, and Blue layout, using some shorter temporary Red tee assignments for our newer players in the Novice Division. This is a trophy-only event to keep entry fees as low as possible.
If you have ever wanted to give disc golf a try, this event is perfect for you! Each player will receive 3 discs that are specially chosen for those just learning how to throw. You will be able to bring a friend to play along side you, and you will get to know some of the amazing disc golf community that is ready to welcome you to the club!
This will be a bring-your-own-partner doubles tournament playing 3 rounds of best disc on the 12 hole layout at Taylor DGC. Players are competing for a 1st or 2nd place trophy in their respective division. Tournament is limited to no more than 54 players.
PLAYER PACK
Every player will receive a Discmania Active Line 3-disc starter pack, and a discount coupon for use at the Rotor Disc Golf Supply store.
ENTRY FEE
Registration is set up to enter as a team. One person will complete the sign up and pay for both players.
- Registration is $44 per team.
- Every player is automatically entered into CTPs,
- CTPs will be separated by divisions and placed on every hole within reach of 1 throw.
- 1st and 2nd place trophies for each division.

- CO-ED Mixed Doubles: White / White / Red

- NOVICE: Red / Red / Red (Will not be playing 12 as an island green)

To decide what division to sign up for, add your player rating, and your partner's player rating together, and divide by 2.
- INTERMEDIATE: Average rating of 900 - 934
- CO-ED Mixed Doubles: Average rating of 900 - 934
- RECREATIONAL: Average rating of 835 - 899
- NOVICE: New players, or players with an average rating below 835
