About this tournament

IMPORTANT NOTE, LOCATION IS Blackhawk Park, 101 15th Ave, Rockford, IL 61104; not Anna Page. Please pull in along 15th st and Nelson Blvd (near Marinelli Field) Also a heads up; the bathrooms will NOT be available :-(

The 4th pop-up event of the year will be at the potential new home of a permanent disc golf course, Blackhawk Park in Rockford, Illinois! If you have not played in any of our events in the past, here is a rundown of what we do and why. We create, design, redesign (and redesign and redesign) and temporarily put up a full length disc golf course at a local park/forest preserve/nature preserve/golf course/farm etc. We will have a full on event with on site vendor(s), payouts for competitive players and overall a ton of fun on a never before seen course. The purpose is to help raise funds for the club to put towards more events while showing the park district possible new locations for new disc golf courses!
The course will be set up by 9am, the tee times are not "firm times", they are there more for flow purposes, and to make sure we have enough time to tear the course back down at the end of the day.

This layout offers a variety of long and short holes, OB, Mandos and some harrowing rough to avoid. We will post the layout soon! Screenshot of the layout can be found in the pictures tab up above.

We will have a divisional cash CTP for CAS/REC/INT/ADV divisions, as well as other CTP littered throughout the course.

Where your money goes:
$11 minimum
-$10 to the club, $1 divisional cash ctp
$5 optional to competitive payouts per division
$2 optional rolling ace pot
"All-In" = $18

We offer a few different ways for everyone to play:

Casual Division - just out to throw discs with friends and do not want to play for money. Cash CTP is included in buy-in. Make a card, go throw and have a blast.

Recreational Division - playing for competitive payout. If your PDGA rating is less than 890, you should be in this division

Intermediate Division - playing for a competitive payout. If your PDGA rating is between 890 and 935, you should be in this division.

Advanced Division - playing for competitive payout. If your PDGA rating is greater than 935, you should be in this division.

Tournament director has final decision, regardless of which division you originally signed up for, to switch your division, if they feel it is necessary based upon skill level. This typically is not an issue.

Ace Pot was not hit at last event, that'll be tallied before the event. I know we are in triple digits!

Walk up/day of sign ups are always welcome!
