Hey Ladies! I am excited for the first annual Queen of the Jungle presented by Moonpebble Designs at Kitsap Fairgrounds Disc Golf Course.

I have a couple of notes before the event. I know this email is long, but it does have important information.

Please review this email before Sunday morning. If I don't address your questions or concerns here, please feel free to reach out.

I have been informed there is a bees nest on hole 7 about ¾ down the fairway on the right side. If you find yourself near this nest, or any others, you do get causal relief. To obtain relief from a casual area, the player's lie may be relocated without penalty to the nearest lie which is farther from the target and is on the line of play, at the nearest point that provides relief. You must announce to the group that you are taking casual relief. 806.03

Speed of play is very important. Please remember you have 30 seconds to throw once you've approached your lie and it's your turn. While your cardmates are throwing you can start thinking about your next throw and what you might want to do. If someone on your card is exceeding their allotted time to throw, your group can give them a warning. Once a warning is given, if they are still exceeding the allotted time, you can give them a penalty stroke, which would result in an additional stroke to their score for that hole. If it is still a problem please contact me. 802.03

Lost Disc. If your disc is lost and you are unable to find it, your whole group must start looking for it. A player must announce they are starting a 3-minute timer. Once the 3 minutes is up, the player who lost the disc must go back to their previous lie and rethrow for one penalty stroke. 805.03

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU CROSS THE ROAD. Unfortunately there isn't a crosswalk there and sometimes the cars come flying around the corner. Please make every effort you can to ensure you and your cardmates safely get across the road.

We will have several CTPs out on the course. The CTPs will be in play all day. After your 2nd round of the day, if you finish on a hole with a CTP on it, please pick it up and return it to Tournament Central. This will help the award ceremony go much smoother.

The ace pot is currently at $126. If you did not pay into the ace pot and you wish to, you have until 8:00 AM, Sunday, to pay the $3 to enter. We will also have a separate “CTP throw off" after round 2 and the top 3 closest throws will split the pot. If no ace is hit during the round the "ace pot" will be added to the "throw off pot". You must pay into the ace pot to be eligible to compete in the Throw Off.

Trophies are based on division sizes. Not every division is receiving trophies to 3rd place. To avoid surprises, I will include a list here of what divisions will be receiving trophies.
FPO: 1st-3rd
FA1: 1st - 3rd
FA40: 1st- 3rd
FA50: 1st only
FA2: 1st - 3rd
FA3: 1st-3rd
FA4:1st-3rd
FJ10: 1st only

We will have a quick players meeting at approximately 7:50 AM. With an approximate start time of 8:20 AM.

Lunch will go for about one hour after the last card is submitted.

Please make sure 2 people on each card are keeping score. We will have limited paper cards, if anyone needs them.
