About this tournament
When:
Sunday, October 28th at Power Mill DGC in Marquette, MI
Format:
Two rounds of 18 holes, two throw per hole per player.
Course layout:
Course is shortened to make aces attainable for most players.
Entry fee:
$30
Player package:
All 2018 players received two identical Discraft prototype discs made especially for this year's Ace Race, plus a lanyard, a premium disc golf towel, hat, and mini. All included with your entry fee!
Rules of play:
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option purchasing a second disc from the TD. Two throws per player per hole. An Ace (hole-in-one) is worth 3 points, a metal hit is worth 1 point. The player with the most aces at the end of the tournament is declared the winner. Metal hits are used in case of a tie.
Prize package:
2018 Prizes for each event include:
Grand Prize: Tournament backpack, SuperColor winners disc, towel and mini.
2nd Place: 3 discs, towel and mini.
3rd Place: 1 disc, towel and mini.
