About this tournament

The Polar Open returns on the new and improved Bill Allen DGC! The course has seen a major facelift with new baskets and several new pin positions! The Polar Open will be the first Disc Golf Dojo event of the year and the first sanctioned event on the renewed Bill Allen course layout!
Entry Fee Breakdown:
Pro - $70 Entry
$60 - Payout
$10 - Fees (City, PDGA, Admin)
Am - $50-65 Entry (Not MA3, FA3, Juniors)
$22 - Players Packs $28 Value
$10 - Fees (PDGA & Admin)
$18-33 - Payout (Varies per division)
MA3, FA3, Juniors - $40 Entry
$30 - Players Packs $48 Value
$10 - Fees (PDGA & Admin)
Added cash and merch payouts will be announced loser to the event as we receive sponsors.
Am payout will be in the form of merchandise credit redeemable at The Disc Golf Dojo proshop on site.
Trophies will be awarded to 1st place in divisions with 3 or more players.
Flex Start Friday
We will host a Flex Start Friday at Bill Allen the day before the event, January 13th. The flex start is completely separate from The Polar Open and will be open to any who wish to play. You are not required to play if you are registered for the Polar Open though we'd love to see you at both events!
Players can play sanctioned singles, unsanctioned doubles, or both.
Players will be able to tee anytime from 8:00am-3:30pm. (TBD)
Cost will be $20 per player, $40 per team for doubles, with an optional $5 ace pot.
If you are not a current PDGA member there will be a $10 fee (singles only).
We will have $1000 ace pots for both singles and doubles for the flex start!

Refund policy
The Disc Golf Dojo is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
Official 2023 refund and cancelation policy
If you need to cancel for this event, it must be made through Disc Golf Scene or by email to [email redacted]. Cancellations more than 3 days in prior to the event will receive a full refund minus a $5 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 3 days of the event date will receive a 75% refund minus the $5 cancellation fee. No refunds will be offered after registration closes.
If you fail to contact us to cancel your spot prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your entry fee for that event. No player’s packages will be given to non-competitors in lieu of entry fees or store credit.
If you have to cancel but would still like a player's pack then you may choose to receive partial refund (varies by division) and get a player's pack while supplies last.
The $5 waitlist fee will not be refunded if you are not able to play the event.
