Playa Lucia Open Presented by DYNAMIC DISCS & TCPR at The Playa Lucia Disc Golf Course in Yabucoa
PDGA C tier. A one day 2 round tournament, the first sanctioned PDGA tournament in Puerto Rico. We invite you to join in on disc golf history here in Puerto Rico.
Doubles match on Saturday December 9th & glow round the evening of December 9th open to the public. You DO NOT have to be registered in tournament to join (see below)
Come see what a great setup and world class views on a disc golf course looks like. We are excited to be able to, with the help of the Municipality of Yabucoa and Dynamic Discs, invite you to play disc golf at the NEW Playa Lucia Disc Golf Course. Many people have put in time to get this park useable again and with that hard work we hope to share a weekend of fun with everyone. Camp for the weekend or stay at the Palmas de Lucia Hotel next door to the course.
FORMAT for SUNDAY
Players Meeting 745 AM
Follow Signs when entering Playa Lucia for parking and tournament central to sign in.
We will be using an 8AM shotgun start 1 round of 18 holes/1 hour lunch (from time of last card submitted)/another 18 hole round for total of 36 hole event. This is a stroke play event.
SCORING
We are using PDGA online scoring.

Access code: Provided during players meeting beginning at 9:30AM
TEES
MPO, FPO, MA50, MA40, MA1 and MA2 play all long tees
All other divisions play short tees

$25 PER HOLE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A SIGN ON YOUR HOLE OF SPONSORSHIP. CONTACT TRAVELING CHAINS PR TO ARRANGE
SIDE GAMES
$5 Ace pool
$5 - cash 50/50 on site. All proceeds will go to growing disc golf in Yabucoa schools.
If there are no aces during regulation play there will be a throw off after all rounds are complete.
Sat Dec 9th
11AM Doubles Matches. (must be here 30 minutes prior to register. Random draw will look to pair an experienced disc golfer with a non-experienced one). This is open to the public and you do not have to be registered in Playa Lucia Open to be able to join. The entry is $5 per person and all money collected will go to payouts we will determine how many spots paid based on entries. Sat evening we will be playing a glow round on holes 7-15 so bring your glow discs, glowsticks and glow gear to the party.
All Juniors must have chaperone
Refund policy
100% refund until December 2nd
50% refund from Dec 2nd until Thursday the 7th at midnight.
No refunds after Thursday unless there is a waitlist for your division.
