    First round all divisions will play Casper Main.

    12:00pm - 1:00pm

    Estimated lunch period. 1-hour break after last card turned in. Details on when the second round starts will be emailed to all registered players after the last card has been turned in.

    1:00pm - 1:15pm

    Player meeting before round 2 by Hole 1 of Bullsnake/Casper Main

    1:30pm - 4:00pm at Bullsnake Alley

    All Divisions will play Bullsnake Alley.

About this tournament

The Casper Disc Golf Club is excited to host the 2026 Platte River Open (formerly the Oil City Open)!! Come join the Casper Disc Golf Club for 3 rounds of disc golf on some of the best courses in Wyoming! We are going to be playing the first two rounds at our normal courses in town, Casper Main and Bullsnake Alley. For the third round, we will be playing at one of Wyoming's top private courses up on Casper Mountain. Lots of awesome stuff going on this year, and we hope to see all of you in Casper for this amazing and fun tournament.

There will be a casual $5 random draw doubles the night before the tournament starts (7/24/2026) starting at 6pm. Look for more details on this as we get closer to the tournament. All are welcome to attend.

$5 Ace Pot
If an ace is not hit during the tournament, there will be a CTP on a hole with half of the money going to the CTP winner and the other half going to the Casper Disc Golf Club.

All amateur players will receive a custom stamped disc.

Amateurs - This is a trophy only event. A custom trophy will be given to the top 3 finishers in each registered amateur division.

Pass-through Fees - $3 PDGA per player fee

Hole Sponsor Option - If you want to sponsor a hole and see your name or business logo on the course layouts and on a sign at a hole on the course during the tournament, this is your chance. For $150 you will get your name/business logo on the event caddy book and a printed sign at a hole on one of the courses.
