Year 2 of the Plastic Explosive Open!
Year 1 was a blast, raising funds for a missions organization, supporting a local non-profit, giving away free stuff, and playing 2 rounds on an absolutely beautiful temp course just outside Chattanooga complete with water, elevation, bomber holes, and some technical elements!
Year 2 has changes to a few holes along with the expansion to 3 different tee lengths, and is now a B-Tier!
Friday Dubs is part of the Plastic Explosive Open II (presented by Chick-fil-A) Weekend, hosted by C4 Church on the property of Project Gallantly Forward. This tournament is a fundraiser for Advocates for Africa, a missions organization providing education, housing, and food for families in remote Africa.
FORMAT

1 Rounds of 18 Holes at Project Gallantly Forward Temp Course in Graysville, TN (between Dunlap and Sale Creek about 35 minutes north of Chattanooga). Tee times from 9AM to 4PM.
$10 from each team entry will be donated to Advocates for Africa. The remaining money will be paid out to the top 40% of finishers in each division.
Course will be open 9am to 6pm on Friday, February 20th for practice while the Dubs Tourney takes place.
DIVISIONS

There's no perfect way to divide up which divisons play from which teepads for dubs, so we left it up to you to decide what length you want to play. You can play multiple rounds from different tee lengths if you’d like. To choose a division based on what tees you’re playing Saturday, use this:
Long (Gold) Tees: MPO, MP40, MA1
Medium (Blue) Tees: MA2, MA3, MA40, MA50, FPO, FA1
Short (White) Tees: MA4, MA60, MA70, FA2, FA3, FA4, FA40, FA50, FA60, FA70, MJ18, MJ15, FJ18, FJ15, MJ08, FJ08
You can play the dubs tourney more than once with different partner/team combos if you'd like. Separate registration required for each.
Let’s try to keep the sandbagging to a minimum! We want teams to be able to play from multiple lengths if they want to, but we also don’t need a couple pros teaming up to blow away the MA4 guys on the short tees.
