Year 2 of the Plastic Explosive Open!
Year 1 was a blast, raising funds for a missions organization, supporting a local non-profit, giving away free stuff, and playing 2 rounds on an absolutely beautiful temp course just outside Chattanooga complete with water, elevation, bomber holes, and some technical elements!

Year 2 has changes to a few holes along with the expansion to 3 different tee lengths, and is now a B-Tier!

$60 Pro/$40 Am/$30 Jr!!!

All listed times are Eastern Standard Time. The course is located just over the line into Central time, but we'll operate on Eastern time.

Welcome to the Plastic Explosive Open II presented by Chick-fil-A, hosted by C4 Church on the property of Project Gallantly Forward. This tournament is a fundraiser for Advocates for Africa, a missions organization providing education, housing, and food for families in remote Africa.


FORMAT

2 Rounds of 18 Holes at Project Gallantly Forward Temp Course in Graysville, TN (between Dunlap and Sale Creek about 35 minutes north of Chattanooga)

Pro and Amateur Divisions
Pro has $1,000 added cash
Amateur has $2,000 of added merchandise on top of Player Packs and Payouts.

ATTENTION VETERANS!!!

Project Gallantly Forward has graciously offered to pay entry fees for 10 Veterans to enter this tournament!!! Due to PDGA regulations, you must register and pay for this tournament like normal, but Project Gallantly Forward will reimburse the entry fees for the first 10 Veterans who come to the PGF table at the tournament and show them your Veteran ID. Thank you for your service!


PDGA RULES FOR B TIER

YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT PDGA MEMBERSHIP per PDGA regulations. You can sign up for the tournament without one, but you will need to have a current membership by 2/11. You can sign up or renew with PDGA.


POOLS
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Divisions (except Juniors) must have 2 participants the day of the tournament. If there are less than 2, players will be moved to an applicable division.

A Pool (gold / long tees): MPO, MP40, MA1
B Pool (blue / medium tees): MA2, MA3, MA40, MA50, FPO, FA1
C Pool (white / short tees): MA4, MA60, MA70, FA2, FA3, FA4, FA40, FA50, FA60, FA70, MJ18, MJ15, FJ18, FJ15, MJ08, FJ08

1st Place Medals for every division.
2nd and 3rd Place Medals for divisions over 8 people.

Amateur Voucher Payouts are redeemable onsite only with Gravity Disc Golf.

Raffle prizes will include an MVP Black Hole Pro basket, an MVP Parsec range finder, MVP Voyager Lite bag, discs, bags, disc retrievers, chalk bags, and various other disc golf related gear (must be present at awards ceremony to claim your prize).

Ace Prize Buy In - $2
Money from the Ace Prize Buy In will be donated to Advocates for Africa. Any player who buys in and hits an ace will receive a $50 gift card to Gravity Disc Golf.

CTP Buy In - $2
Money from the CTP Buy In will be donated to Advocates for Africa. Buying in enters you to win a prize on numerous CTPs that will be present throughout both rounds. Some will be based on division/pool, some will be for the whole field.
CTP Prizes will include a mixture of discs, minis, gift cards, and various apparel (must be present at awards ceremony to claim your prize).


PLAYOFF HOLES IF NEEDED

Sudden death playoffs for 1st Place will play Hole 01, Hole 02, and Hole 18 on a repeating loop until a winner is determined. .

The cost is $100 and includes logo or name included on a sign at tournament central and printed on event marketing, automatic entry into the Ace Prize and CTP Buy Ins (if playing in the event), and 5 Additional Raffle Tickets (if playing in the event). CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations after 02/17 are subject to a minimum of a $5 fee. Players getting in off wait list will be limited to remaining player pack choices available, particularly on items with sizes.
Over 7 days from the tournament: Players will have 48 hours to accept spot by completing registration if they are promoted.
Under 7 days from the tournament: Players will have 24 hours to accept spot by completing registration if they are promoted.
Under 24 hours from the tournament: Players must immediately accept spot by completing registration if they are promoted.

C4 Church is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
