Double Down Disc Golf Tournament
About this tournament
Disc Golf PEI is excited to hold our second edition of our "best ball" doubles tournament. This time there will be some changes.
This tournament is 50 teams MAX. Our last tournament we had 45 teams, ALL LOCAL. This time the bridge is open so we can expect some travelers as well.
- The cost for the MPO division will be 40$ per person and the cost for all other divisions will be 30$
- The MPO division will be playing for cash, with an extra 25% in added cash!
- All competitors outside of the MPO division will receive a custom stamped disc in their player pack!
- The first round will consist of 18 holes, and remember it is "best disc" so you and your partner each throw from the previous shot which you agree is the best lie
-The second round will be condensed to 10 holes, so we are able to maintain our distance and get through in a timely manner
- Lunch and water will be provided as part of the registration
- You will receive an email with your tee time and further instructions for the day as well as a waiver which will need to be emailed back
- There will be an ace pot
- There will be 2 CTPs
- We will be bringing back our popular "elimination putt" game, this time the winner will be taking home a pro basket!
UPDATE - Those who are registered in MPO, MA1 and FA1 are also able to register in the MIX division. The Mix division will be complete before tee off for the MPO, MA1 and FA1. The cost, if you are registered for another division please register under MIX2 at a cost of 20$.
If you are playing MA2 and wish to register MIX2 simply let us know, if there is enough interest we will work something out.
Registration will be closing on July 23rd at 1700 so we are able to create cards. If you already know the other team that you would like to tee off with, please ask in advance by email.
The tournament schedule will be sent by email once the tee times have been made.
Please remember that we will still be practicing distancing as best we can in a doubles tournament. We all want to stay safe and continue throwing discs this season so please help us keep everyone safe.
