About this tournament

2024 PFC Pin Race Rules:

Registration fee for this event is $25. Current Peoria Frisbee Club members will receive a $5 discount in the form of PFC funny money when registering for this event.

Once registration closes for this event no other participants may join.

Only registered players are eligible for pins and prizes.

Each participant will receive a Peoria Frisbee Club lanyard on which to attach the pins acquired during the contest. Individual pins identifying the course completed will be given to the participant upon completion of the course round or at the next available event or league where both the participant and a representative of the PFC board is distributing pins for the Pin Race. All lanyards and pins become the property of the individual participants once they are received by the participant.

To receive credit for a completed course on the 2024 Pin Race List, participants must provide evidence of that completed round to a PFC Board member by, a) showing a UDisc or PDGA scorecard of the completed round at said course, or b) by having a PFC board member witness the completed round at said course. Any round demonstrated by the above means counts towards the 2024 Pin Race. This includes tournaments. leagues, and casual rounds. While we realize that unscrupulous individuals can create fake scorecards on UDisc, we are relying on the honor system. Those to be found without honor will be disqualified from the Pin Race and bring dishonor and shame upon their friends and family.

NOTE: Rounds played since January 1st, 2024 can retroactively be used towards the 2024 Pin Race if they can be demonstrated as a completed round using the means listed above. This means anyone who participated in the PFC Ice Bowl at Bradley Park can use this towards their 2024 PFC Pin Race total. (Even though the Ice bowl was more than 18 holes, this still only counts as a 18-hole course completed.)

The 22 Peoria area courses within 35 miles of Peoria that count as an 18-hole course for the 2024 PFC Pin Race include the following:

Each of the courses on this list count one time only towards the 2024 PFC Pin Race and award a participant one point to their total.

The 18-hole Eureka Temp course has been excluded from awarding participants a point in the 2024 Pin Race because the course is only available one day and does not offer an option for all divisions. However, any Pin Race participants completing Eureka Temp will still receive a pin for this course.

The 16 Peoria area courses within 25 miles of Peoria that count as a 9-hole course for the 2024 PFC Pin Race include the following:

PFC Board members will be responsible for recording proven completed rounds by participants and reporting them to the Tournament Director for this event.

Maximum points possible for the 2024 PFC Pin Race is 30 points. 22 points are possible by playing all 22 of the 18-hole Peoria area courses on the list above and 8 points are possible by playing all 16 of the 9-hole Peoria area courses on the list above.

At the conclusion of the event (December 31, 2024) the Tournament Director will report the final results to all participants and announce the payouts for the event.

All payouts will be in the form of Peoria Frisbee Club funny money and come from 50% of the received registration fees for the event. The remaining 50% of the received registration fees will go to the Peoria Frisbee Club to support disc golf in the Peoria area through course maintenance, leagues, and other events.

The top ⅓ of all participants will receive payouts unless more than ⅓ of all participants score the maximum 30 points possible, in which case all players scoring the maximum 30 points will receive payouts divided equally from the payout funds.
