The Wabash Disc Golf Club and People's Brewing Company are excited to announce event #2 of the Indiana Summer Series: The 2015 Greater Lafayette Open!
All players will receive a great player pack (valued at over $15) including a tournament stamped pint glass, pint glass koozie, reusable shopping tote, microfiber towel, carabiner, and other items. NONE OF THIS COMES OUT OF THE PAYOUTS! Please thank and support our sponsors.
DAY OF REGISTRATION FEE: $5
IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
IF YOU ARE NOT A CURRENT PDGA MEMBER YOU MUST PLAY IN AN OPEN DIVISION OR IN THE TROPHY ONLY MA3 DIVISION. (EXCEPTIONS: WOMEN, JUNIORS, AGE-RESTRICTED DIVISIONS)
DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF FLOODING AT MCALLISTER PARK THE TOURNAMENT FIELD SIZE LIMIT IS 90 PLAYERS WITH 10 OF THOSE SPOTS BEING RESERVED FOR SPONSORS UNTIL ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT. This limit will only be enforced should McAllister Park be unplayable. In this case the event will involve two rounds at Murdock Park. The field limit will be 144 players as long as both courses are used. After 80 players register a wait list will begin. As soon as it's determined that both courses will be available, players on the waitlist will be contacted to confirm their participation. This determination will happen by 5pm on May 28th at the latest.
The Recreational Men's division (MA3) players will be playing "Trophy Only." All MA3 players will receive two (2) Innova CFR discs (valued at $16 each) along with their player pack and the winner will receive a trophy but no other prizes will be awarded.
The Intermediate Men's division (MA2) players will receive one (1) Innova CFR disc (valued at $16) along with their player pack. $10/player will be included in the payout for the top 45% of the field.
All Advanced division players will only receive the player pack. $20/player will be included in the payout for the top 45% of the fields.
The Junior Boys division (MJ2) players will be playing "Trophy Only." All MJ2 players will receive one (1) Innova CFR disc (valued at $16) along with their player pack. The winner will receive a trophy but no other prizes will be awarded.
The FREE Recreational Women's (FA3) and Junior Girl's (FJ2) division players will be playing "Trophy Only." and receive the player pack. The winner will receive a trophy but no other prizes will be awarded.
Amateur payouts are expected to be weighted "top heavy" with the top 1/3 of the players who "cash" receiving the majority of the payouts.
Amateur payouts will be in the form of Plastic to the People gift certificates. They may be redeemed at the P2P booth at the event or used at the P2P disc golf retail location (925 Main St, Lafayette).
