The Wabash Disc Golf Club and People's Brewing Company are excited to announce event #7 of the 2017 Indiana Summer Series: The Greater Lafayette Open!
All players will receive a great player pack. More info as the event approaches.
DAY OF REGISTRATION FEE: $10
All divisions will play one round at Murdock Park and one round at McAllister Park. The order will be determined according to how many players are in each division.
IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PDGA RATING, THIS INCLUDES NON-MEMBERS OR CURRENT MEMBERS WITHOUT A RATING, YOU MAY NOT PLAY IN THE MA2 INTERMEDIATE DIVISION.
DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF FLOODING AT MCALLISTER PARK THE TOURNAMENT FIELD SIZE LIMIT IS 90 PLAYERS WITH 10 OF THOSE SPOTS BEING RESERVED FOR SPONSORS UNTIL ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT. This limit will only be enforced should McAllister Park be unplayable. In this case the event will involve two rounds at Murdock Park. The field limit will be raised to 144 players when it's determined both courses can be used. After 80 players register a wait list will begin. Players on the waitlist will be contacted to confirm their participation and registration will open to additional players as soon as McAllister Parks usage is verified. This determination will happen by 5pm on Aug 18 at the latest.
The Recreational Men's division (MA3) will be playing "Trophy Only." All MA3 players will receive two (2) discs along with their player pack and the division winner will receive a trophy but no other prizes will be awarded.
The Intermediate Men's division (MA2) players will receive one (1) disc along with their player pack. $10/player will be included in the payout for the top 45% of the field.
All Advanced division players (including Age Restricted Divisions) will only receive the player pack. $20/player will be included in the payouts for the top 45% of the fields.
The Junior Boys division (MJ2) players will be playing "Trophy Only." All MJ2 players will receive one (1) disc along with their player pack. The division winner will receive a trophy but no other prizes will be awarded.
The FREE Recreational Women's (FA3) division players will be playing "Trophy Only." and receive the player pack. The winner will receive a trophy but no other prizes will be awarded.
Amateur payouts are expected to be weighted "top heavy" with the top 1/3 of the players who "cash" receiving the majority of the payouts.
