Format
This family-friendly event is suitable for players of all skill levels!
Four rounds of 9 holes (36 Holes), one throw per hole per player.
Player package:
All 2018 players received two identical Discraft prototype discs in premium plastic made especially for this year's Ace Race, plus a lanyard, a disc golf towel, hat, and mini. All included with your entry fee!
Official Ace Race Prize package:
2018 Prizes for each event include:
Grand Prize: Disc Golf Tournament Backpack, SuperColor winners disc, towel and mini.
2nd Place: 3 discs, towel and mini.
3rd Place: 1 disc, towel and mini.
Early Bird Door Prizes
Register before July 1, 2018 and be entered into a draw for crazy prizes!
Referral Prizes
Get your friends and family to sign up! Encourage someone new to disc golf with us at the Ace Race and be entered into a draw for more prizes! The referral must be a player who did not participate in previous years to qualify.
CTP & Ace Pool
There is an optional Ace Pool ($2) with payout to the individual with the most aces and a CTP or Closest to the Pin ($1) prize going to the individual with the best drive!

Meet at Hole #1
Park on Marina Way, Path to Course on Abbott Street
Holes are generally between 150 and 250 feet and have been adjusted this year for even more ace action!
Rules of play:
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal.
After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players keep their scorecards for following rounds, using the next line on the card to record the round.
The player with the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.

As a benefit of participating in this year's Ace Race, players have the options to purchase Discraft discs of any model and plastic at wholesale prices! This includes signature Tour Discs and the brand new revamped Ti line. Message Brandon McKay directly for details.
