About this tournament

Pendleton King Disc Golf Course is one of the oldest courses in the South East and host to some of the greatest disc golfers in the world. The only changes the course has seen has been to the layout. Now it is time to update the original baskets.

This years PK Open is to raise money to replace the original 33 year old baskets. All profits will be used to help purchase new baskets. They have been good over the years and these chains have done their due diligence. All good things must come to an end. Fortunately we have the opportunity and support to upgrade them.

This years PK Open will be on the 18 hole super stretch par 64 course. It will be two rounds. Tee times both days .We will have a $50 par 2 bounty hole. If you are the only one to ace this hole you get $50. If there is more than one ace the bounty will be split. The bounty hole will still in play just be a extra hole play after your round everyday a different location.

"True Amateur" Event: True Amateur is the designation used by the Professional Disc Golf Association in reference to those amateur events, or the amateur portion of an event, which promote that true spirit of amateur athletics by presenting only trophies to the top finishers of the tournament rather than a payout in merchandise. Instead, all players in the event receive equal value through their tournament experience due to the tournament amenities that are provided, which includes a larger than normal Player's Package.
