About this tournament
1 round of play
Space race
One round, two discs only, the glow pilot and glow hex you receive at the event will be the only two discs permitted to be used. You will throw both the pilot and hex on each tee shot, you take note if you hit any metal, chains, or got a ace, this is the space race portion of the event, metal (top, topband, pole) will get you one point, chains will get you three points, aces will get you 5 points. You will also play your best disc on each hole out for your score like regular formats. The layout will be a shortened 18 hole layout that can be found on UDisc. Hole 13 and 14 will have 33ft circle 1 islands that you have to land your discs in to be considered in, if you are out you will putt from the marked drop zone. Ob will be water on all holes that it is in play on. There will be a mando on hole 12 that is a quad mando, left and right which is the normal mando missing this will cause you to play from your lie with a added stroke, the mando will also have a bonus feature of a slot to throw through to add 3 points to your space race points total, the slot is marked with horizontal glow sticks between the regular mando trees and will not add a stoke if you miss the mando but still make the default one.
Scores will be kept on UDisc.
Ace race points will be individually kept on paper provided to you.
Tee boxes will be marked with flags and lights.
Baskets will be fully light up.
The islands will be painted and are 33ft which all of you should know.
The drop zone putts will have a prize of a whale sac for each hole #13 and #14
#13 and #14 will also have ctps closest to the pin challenge that will earn a $20 gift card donated by disc republic to their shop. If multiple people have a drop zone putt make there will be a putt off between these people. Aces on hole #13 and #14 will over ride the closest to the pin.
Hole # Will have a long putt challenge for men that will have a mvp towel as a prize.
Hole # Will have a long putt challenge for women with a prize of a medium bush league womens tank shirt.
Those of you that pay into the $5 ace pot will be eligible for that on both your throws on all 18 holes. Multiple aces will spilt pot.
Upon no aces will have a CTP challenge to take half the ace pot.
There will be a few prizes available for raffle to support the quest for kodiak lights. Cost of raffle tickets is 1 for $3, 3 for $5 and 10 for $10 thanks
Prizing will be for top three space race points, then also for top three lowest scores after playing your best disc out.
Prizes are a pick of one out of 18 lab second mvp discs.
