About this tournament
1 round of play
The Gowrie Parks Board is inviting the community to Laurel Park for a family-friendly fundraising event focused on raising money for a new playground at Gowrie City Park. The event will feature activities for all ages, including pickleball and disc golf tournaments. Community members can also enjoy cornhole and horseshoes throughout the afternoon. Additional activities will include kids games, food, music, and a 50/50 raffle.
This Flex Start is going to be a One Disc One Round Challenge. The custom stamped disc that everyone will be competing with will be provided at the checkin area at Laurel Park near tee pad one. This will be a custom layout using some of the original holes of the 9-Hole layout a long with some temp holes inside of the football field area.
Park-A-Palooza is part of the Parks Board’s larger effort to replace the outdated playground equipment and create a safe, welcoming space for families and children in the community.
Everyone is encouraged to stop by Market on Market earlier in the day and then spend the rest of the afternoon participating in activities and supporting the Gowrie Parks Board!
