Pam B. Childs Memorial presented by Latitude 64

The Pamela B. Childs Memorial presented by Latitude 64 is underway. As tradition goes, Team Monkey Dust is teaming up with the IDGC to host the PBC in effort to raise money for a local cause. Through generous donations from our disc golf family, the PBC has impacted many lives. Last year’s tournament benefited a local firefighter whose family home was flooded. We are happy to continue this tradition while having a blast throwing discs!

This year’s recipient is Robbie Powell. Robbie has been a part of the Childs’ family for 40 years and introduced Paul and Joshua Childs to disc golf in 1995. In August, Robbie’s house burned down resulting in a total loss. There was no insurance on the home. We are donating the proceeds of the Pamela B. Childs tournament to help Robbie get back on his feet.

Things you should know:

There will be day of sign up for side action
Camping is available at Wildwood park, visit https://www.columbiacountyga.gov/Home/Components/FacilityDirectory/FacilityDirectory/42/4823?npage=2 for more information
We will have raffle items
Lunch will be provided
All amateur divisions get a player’s pack
The PBC is a "true amateur" event
Trophies will be given to 1st place for divisions with 4+ competitors (signed up before 11/11/18).

Layout:
Pro, Advanced, Int: Warner Long, Ed Long
Rec, Adv & Rec women, & Novice: Ed Short, Warner Short
All other divisions: Ed Long, Warner Short
