About this tournament

The Inaugural Oak Country Club Open (OCCO), presented by City Barrel Brewing Co., is a 1 day, 1 round singles event at Oak Country Club Golf Course in DeSoto, KS. We will be playing on a temporary course designed by Dick Parker.

When: Oct. 30, 2021
Check-in: 8am - 8:45 am
Entry Fee includes: 1 Round with a cart (2 players per cart), 2 cans of delicious City Barrell Beer (must be 21+).

$35 of each entry will go towards Green Fees and Administration fees to run the event.
Remaining entry fee goes towards payout in each division.

Divisions will be limited to what you see on this site. There will be cash payouts in each division. Amateur eligibility will be at the TD's discretion. You may contact Dick Parker in order to find out if you qualify for a specific division. [email redacted] for more information.

Registration opens on July 30th and will remain open until Oct 22nd at 8 pm. Refunds for the event will be available until the close of registration. Refund requests after Oct 22nd at 8 pm will be Entry Fee minus $35. We must pay the golf course 1 week before the event, so that money will not be refundable.

This course will be a par 66+, Championship Level design. It will follow the actual golf course. So each "golf" hole present will have a disc golf hole designed on it in some way.

Hole and Cart Assignments:
When you register, you will have to pick what hole you want to start on as well as choose a cart (A or B, sometimes C). There are going to be 4 somes and 6 somes on the course. If you are a newer or slower player, we ask that you please stay in a 4 some. This will help with speed of play. We need to keep moving as the golf course will open to the public immediately following the event.

Can you bring your own golf cart?
Yes. We have enough golf carts for 84 people. If you bring a cart that will actually increase the # of competitors we can allow on the course. We will not have more than 6 per card under any condition. If you want to bring your own cart, please contact Dick Parker, [email redacted] to work out those details. This will not reduce your entry fee in anyway.
