About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a two round, unsanctioned BYOP doubles tournament to celebrate the growth of North Glen Disc Golf Course. The aim of this years tournament is to have a good time and give back to our players.
There will be 4 divisions in total:
Gold - Pro/Advanced
Silver - Intermediate/Rec
Rose - Female
Mixed - Mixed doubles team
A 5th registration option has been added:
Solo - single registrant who will be paired up with other Solo registrant on the day of the event. (Rose and Mixed will be combined if less than 3 teams register for each division)
Round One: Best shot. Long to short.
Round Two: Alternative shot. Short to short.
Players will recieve one tournament stamped disc each. The remaining funds will go towards payouts. The numbers of teams paid out is subject to division size. Divisions of 3 or less will pay out 1st only.
Round one there will be a CTP for each division. Prizes include Sexton Firebirds, Innova Hawkeyes and more TBD.
Gold division will be paid out via PayPal.
All remaining divisions will receive merchandise bucks from our favorite local retailer, Daddy Disc Golf.

If the Ace Pot is not hit during the rounds, a CTP play-off will take place for everyone who opted into the Ace Pot (three shots per player). The Ace Pot is available through online registration and you can buy in day of at tournament central.
What is Alternate Shot? Only one sequence of throws is made on each hole. The team selects a player to throw the tee shot at the beginning of the round. The other player then throws from the subsequent lie, and play alternates in that fashion until the round is completed. Alternate Shot is closer to a singles format, where one partner can't bail the other out. Whichever team member holes out cannot throw the tee shot on the next hole.
Best Shot is by far the most popular doubles format. Both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the team chooses which of the resulting lies to continue play from, until the hole is completed. Teammates do not have to throw from the same lie.

North Glen Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
Refund requests made after the close of registration will 50% money back unless the teams spot is replaced by a waitlist team. In this case 100% will be returned.
