About this tournament
This is a one round, unsanctioned singles tournament to raise money for The MSP Special Olympics Maryland Polar Bear Plunge. This is a trophy only fundraising event.
Layout will be a 30 hole version of Short to Short. Some holes will be shortened to keep everything closer to 270 feet and under. Additional holes will be added playing to the Long baskets after playing the Short basket as well as short versions of all 4 X holes. The layout should be good for all skill levels.
There are three Special Olympics Maryland stamped discs available for purchase as an add-on at registration, an Aviar X3, a Wombat3, and a Sidewinder. They are going for $15 a piece which is less than retail for Star plastic and we still make a few dollars for Special Olympics off each one. You may purchase as many as you'd like before the cutoff date.
If you cannot make the event but would still like to support it there is a hole sponsorship available for $15 (you may also purchase discs when selecting) and a disc purchase only option when registering. We will have to make the disc purchase several weeks ahead of time so if you'd like a disc but are unsure if you can play you can purchase a disc now and also register to play later.
Ace pot will be split between all aces hit (there will be some very short holes). If no aces are hit 50% will be donated to Special Olympics Maryland and 50% will go to a CTP throw-off after the round.
A raffle will be held after the round with various items.
We will be using UDisc for scoring. Please create a UDisc account if you do not have one. (You do not need to pay for the subscription, the free version is enough.)
Bathrooms will not be available at the park for this event, the county has closed them for the winter.

Refund policy
Refunds for entry fees will be given until the close of registration on January 24th at 8:00pm.
Refunds for discs ordered will be given until we order the discs 3 to 4 weeks before the event.
If you must withdraw from the event but cannot refund the disc order we will figure out a way to get your discs to you.
North Glen Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
