Two weeks until the tournament! Thank you again to everyone who has pre registered we are already at 47 players. Here is a reminder of the schedule.
I encourage everyone to come to doubles on the 4th--it will be your only opportunity to play the full layout before the tournament. Doubles the night before the tournament used to be a big deal and a fun bonus of going to tournaments in North Dakota but it seems to have died off in the last few years. Anyone may play in the doubles round.
Friday August 4th
Late registration and Check in 5:00 to 6:00pm
6:30pm $5 random draw doubles on the tournament layout.
Late registration and Check in 8:30 - 9:30am
Players meeting 9:45am
Round 1 starts at 10:00.
Round 2 starts an hour after the last group finishes Round 1.
Two rounds of 18 holes on a modified Klaus Park layout. I am still working on the layout but my plan is for most of the holes to be completely new.
Entry fee for all divisions is $27.
Optional $3 Ace Pot.
Non-PDGA members except juniors must add $10 PDGA fee.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to help with event planning and ensure that you get a spot in the tournament. Event is limited to 72 players.
This will be the first true amateur tournament in North Dakota. What this means for you is that you will receive a player's package worth at least as much as your entry fee, not including the $10 PDGA fee. The players who finish in the top few places in their division will receive custom trophies or custom trophy discs.
