About this tournament

Come join us for the fourth PDGA event at Winter Quarters DGC!
This course was designed on an old 9-hole ball golf course and uses the course beautifully. You'll have to shape some shots, navigate the woods, and unleash the beast on some bomber shots. Winter Quarters has something to offer for any disc golfer of any skill level.
Players pack will be a custom stamped discs and other swag! Off Course Disc Golf will have their Birdie Bus ON SITE with some sweet plastic. Also, Cypress Roots Brewing Company will be hosting us after the event for an after party - you won't want to miss it!
LAYOUTs
The following divisions will play the “calm seas” format, which has very little OB - MA2, MA3, FA40, MA50
The following divisions will play the “stormy waters” format, which is significantly more challenging (details below) - MA1, MPO, MA40
All Long pads are marked by a blue block
All Short pads are marked by a white flag

MA2, MA3, FA40, MA50 - “Calm Seas” -Short
MPO, MA1, MA40 - “Stormy Waters” Short
Round 2
MA2, MA3, FA40, MA50 - “Calm Seas” Long
MPO, MA1, MA40 - “Stormy Waters” Long
Rules for all formats
If mando is missed throw from drop zone with one penalty stroke; there are mandos on
3,4,6(2),7(2),9 12,13,15(2),16(2),18
The cart path plays as a river. If your disc is on the path, surrounded by asphalt, you are OB; UNLESS you happen to be on a "land bridge" which is marked by two lines of green tape. If your disc lands on the path, but it also touching green tape, or in between the two llines of tape, you are IN bounds.
The streets surrounding the park are OB
Private property lines are OB; these will be marked by flags some places (holes 3 and 6) and others will be judged solely by card consensus (back yards along 17 etc.)
If your disc is in a ditch or pond, surrounded by water, it is OB
IF YOU ARE NOT SURE, PLAY A PROVISIONAL
The following is for the “Stormy Waters” format only
1 Grass island in front of tee is OB (flagged) / Sand traps next to basket play as hazard (marked with blue paint)
6 Path and left OB;hazards next to short basket (marked with blue paint)
7 Path and beyond on left are OB
8 Path and beyond behind basket OB
10 Hazard bunkers next to long pin (marked with blue paint)
11 Flagged area in front of tee OB
13 Path and beyond OB
14 Path and beyond are OB once you are past the bridge (painted blue line) - proceed to drop zone
15 Path and left from "land bridge" to second mando (flagged) OB; all other asphalt plays like a river OB
