The Invitational this year will be July 19th at Mary Beth Doyle. We’ll check in at 9 and tee off at 9:30. We are going to play 1 round from the shorts 1-18. The women will play a Cali singles round (meaning they get one rethrow per hole, does not carry over). The men will play a doubles round and be teamed up by standings first with last, 2nd with 2nd to last, etc. They have to throw from the same lie, no splitting. If there is an odd man out then the middle person will play Cali and get one rethrow per hole and it doesn’t carry over.

The best women’s score will win a berth. The 2 best team scores from the doubles round will win a berth.

If there is a Cali from the doubles that has one of the best scores, then that will leave us with one berth to give out. To give out that berth whoever played in the Invitational can play. We will play singles with no rethrows starting on holes 1, 2, 3. The best score from those 3 will win the berth. If there is still a tie those who are tied will play 4, 8, 11, the best score from those 3 holes will win the berth. If there is still a tie those who are tied will play 12, 13, & 14, the best score from those 3 will win the berth. If there is still a tie we will start the loop over.

If there is a tie in either division for the berth they will play the same loop until a team wins (that can happen on hole 1), we will only keep playing until a winner breaks the tie. Women will continue using their rethrows.

Those who win a berth will get a bag tag and a towel and will get to choose a heat or a zone. The remaining discs will be used for CTPs. Holes 3, 13, and 14 will be the CTP holes.

There will be no OB. Cost is $15 per person (cash or Venmo) and we’ll do an optional ace pot of $5. If no one hits an ace then we’ll throw off on hole 3 and CTP on that hole will take the cash.
