16th Annual Night Moose Open
Private invite-only tournament for club members.
This year we are celebrating 16 years of Night Moose disc golf and our year end event. Random draw doubles tournament single score format to crown the winner. Lunch will be held at the conclusion of Round 1 and players are encouraged to bring anything needed for the entire day when they arrive in the morning.
Parking
Players can drop off anything and will park at Barth Elementary School and will be shuttled back to the course. Legends are permitted to park at Moose Meadows in designated parking areas.
Rules
2 Rounds of 21 holes switching partners(random flip) every 7 holes per round. Players cannot play with the same partner during a single round. Holes will be assigned during player check-in and during lunch to determine cards.
Scoring
As in years past, it is best shot doubles(scramble) format. Players will keep track of one other players score during the round. All players are responsible for handing in their own scorecard at the end of each round. Once scorecards are handed in to tournament staff it is considered final and WILL NOT be changed. Incorrect scoring will result in a 1 stroke penalty for the player with the incorrect scorecard.
Aces
If a player gets an ace at any point during the tournament, the score of 1 on that specific hole will only count for the single player and not for their partner. Their partner is still able to throw for an ace if they have not already tee'd off on that hole. If their partner does not also ace the hole, they will take a 2 on the hole and will not need to throw any additional shots after the tee shot.
Playoff Format
In the event of a tie between players for the top 3 spots, there will be a sudden death playoff to determine the trophies and winner. Playoff format will start on Hole 1 and will continue until winners are determined.
Courtesy/Pace of Play
Although the event is meant to be fun for all players it is important to be mindful and respectful of the course and other players. Absolutely no trash should be left on the course and that includes cigarette butts, empty cans, etc. Smoking is not permitted inside the garage at any point during the weekend.
If there are any additional clarifications needed on any rules that is not clear in the caddy guide, players should play a provisional shot and clarify with tournament staff once the round is completed and there is not a staff member on their card.
Friday Events/Course Practice
Moose Meadows will be open for practice rounds from October 18th-October 24th.
Accuracy contest, putting contest, and Legends Skins match will be held on October 24th. Specific details of each event will be available for all players on Friday if they attend.

Course open for practice until 3pm.
Accuracy - 11am - 2pm
Putting - 10am - 3pm
Legends Skins - 4pm
