Format
Random draw for groups and at your starting hole you will flip for your partner for the first 12 holes. After you have played 12 holes at Willow, you will flip amongst your group and play with a different partner for the final 12 holes. There will be another random draw for groups after lunch at Moose Meadows and you will flip to determine partners for the first 9 holes. After completing 9 holes you will flip again to play with a different partner. The lowest single person score for the entire event will be the winner.
Tie-breaker/Playoff
In the event of a tie, the players with the same score will compete in a sudden death playoff starting on hole 1 at Moose Meadows and play the course in normal order until a winner is decided. This will apply to spots 1-3 to decide who will take home a trophy.
Lunch
Food will be provided in between rounds at Moose Meadows as always, please provide your own drinks. Lunch will be hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers as well as other dishes and sides. Players are encouraged to bring a snack or a dish to pass.
Players Packs
Custom tournament dri-fit shirt, mystery disc, customer Night Moose pencil and other goodies.
Merch Table
Once again, Mark Kruse will be setting up a FlyMart at Moose Meadows for players to purchase any disc golf related items.
CTP's/Prizes
We will continue the tradition of having a CTP for every single hole at Moose Meadows. This means there will be 18 opportunities for players to grab some extra swag during the event.
Saturday, October 28th - Mini-games/Practice/Events
The course will be open to all players on Saturday and everyone will be able to participate in side games. We will run the putting competition again and will be changing the format. 1 round of putting is included in your registration, but you will be able to play another round for a better score for $2. There will not be much time for this on Sunday besides the finals so if you are interested I highly encourage you to get your putting rounds in on Saturday. There will be some other fun events and this is a great chance for people to get together and relax and play a practice round or 2. The course will be open at 11am-dark. There may be a glow round later in the evening for exclusive prizes but this will be determined as the event nears.
Looking forward to another great event and seeing all the members of the club, past and present. Keep em' flyin!!!
-Jay
